Prof. Zhuliang Yu

South China University of Technology, China


Zhuliang Yu is a Professor and Doctoral Supervisor, serving as the Deputy Dean of the School of Automation at South China University of Technology. He is recognized as a "New Century Excellent Talent" by the Ministry of Education and a provincial-level candidate in the "Thousands and Hundreds" Talent Development Program of Guangdong Province. Professor Yu earned his Bachelor's and Master's degrees from the Department of Electronic Engineering at Nanjing University of Aeronautics and Astronautics in 1995 and 1998, respectively. In 2006, he obtained his Ph.D. from Nanyang Technological University in Singapore. From 2000 to 2008, he conducted research at the Signal Processing Centre of Nanyang Technological University, where he served as the head of a research group. In 2008, he joined the School of Automation Science and Engineering at South China University of Technology. His current research focuses on signal processing, machine learning, big data processing, and their applications in brain signal processing, intelligent robotics, and medical data processing. He has published approximately 110 papers in international journals and conferences, including over 60 SCI-indexed papers and 50 EI-indexed papers. Additionally, he has authored or contributed to six English books or book chapters. Professor Yu has led several research projects, including key and general projects under the National Natural Science Foundation of China, key projects of the Guangdong Natural Science Foundation, various talent programs, and industry collaboration projects.

Prof. Wenjian Luo

Harbin Institute of Technology, Shenzhen, China

Wenjian Luo received the BS and PhD degrees from Department of Computer Science and Technology, University of Science and Technology of China, Hefei, China, in 1998 and 2003. He is presently a professor of School of Computer Science and Technology, Harbin Institute of Technology, Shenzhen, China. He is a Distinguished Member of CCF, a Senior Member of IEEE, ACM, and CAAI. He currently serves as an area editor of Applied Soft Computing Journal, and an associate editor (or editorial board member) for several journals including Information Sciences Journal, Swarm and Evolutionary Computation Journal, Journal of Information Security and Applications, Complex & Intelligent Systems Journal, and Systems and Soft Computing Journal. Currently he also serves as a member of IEEE CIS Evolutionary Computation Technical Committee. He was the chair of the IEEE CIS ECTC Task Force on Artificial Immune Systems (2018-2022). He has been a member of the organizational team of more than twenty academic conferences including ICSI 2023, PPSN 2020 and IJCNN 2021, in various functions, such as general chair, program chair, symposium chair and publicity chair.

His research interest is artificial intelligence and security. He mainly focuses on the secure intelligent systems, especially the fundamental algorithms and techniques of machine learning, immune computing, swarm intelligence, and the applications of artificial intelligence in information security, large model security, privacy protection, object recognition, data mining and dynamic optimization.

Prof. Hongliang Dai

Guangzhou University, China

Hongliang Dai is currently a Professor at the Department of Statistics, Guangzhou University, a Distinguished Professor of "Guangzhou Scholar", a Doctoral Supervisor, a Postdoctoral Supervisor, and the Program Director of Data Science and Big Data Technology. He obtained his master's degree in Applied Mathematics from Wuhan University in 2003 and his doctoral degree in Applied Mathematics from Sun Yat-sen University in June 2013. In 2015, he was awarded the title of Professor in Artificial Intelligence. 

He joined the School of Mathematics and Computational Science at Guangdong University of Finance and Economics in July 2003, and transferred to the Department of Statistics, School of Economics and Statistics at Guangzhou University in April 2017. He is an "Outstanding Middle-aged and Young Key Teacher" of the second batch at Guangdong University of Finance and Economics, and a university-level cultivation candidate of the sixth batch of the "Qianbai Shi Project" in Guangdong Province.

He is a Member of IEEE, ACM, and CCF; a Standing Director of the Branch of Statistics History and Culture under the Chinese Association for Applied Statistics; a Director of the Branch of Data Science and Artificial Intelligence under the Chinese Association for Applied Statistics; a Director of the Branch of Educational Statistics and Management under the Chinese Association for Applied Statistics; a Standing Director of the Guangdong Society for Computational Mathematics; and a Member of the Big Data Professional Committee of the Guangdong Computer Society.

Prof. Feng Yin

The Chinese University of Hong Kong, China

Feng Yin received his B.Sc. degree from Shanghai Jiao Tong University, China, and his M.Sc. and Ph.D. degrees from Technische Universitaet Darmstadt, Germany. He received the EU Marie-Curie Young Fellowship and worked at Ericsson Research, Linkoping, Sweden. He is currently a tenured associate professor with the School of Artificial Intelligence (SAI) at The Chinese University of Hong Kong, Shenzhen. His research interests include statistical signal processing, Bayesian learning and optimization, and applications to spatial intelligence and artificial intelligence of things. He has published more than 130 top-tier journal and conference papers, and 20 patents/standards. He has served as Associate Editor for the EURASIPSignal Processing Journal and is currently serving as the Associate Editor for theIEEE Transactions on Signal Processing. He is an IEEE senior member,a member of the IEEE Machine Learning and Signal Processing (MLSP) technical committee and a member of the IEEE SPS scholarship committee.
